The Governors of Broadway Junior School are seeking to appoint a highly skilled, enthusiastic and dedicated qualified teacher to join a happy, successful and hardworking team.

The successful applicant will:

• Hold the National Award for SENCO Qualification, or be prepared to complete this within three years of appointment
• Carry out a varied teaching roll, both classroom based and dedicated SENCO lead time
• Be a strong leader, who is committed to providing the highest standards of provision for SEND pupils
• Demonstrate an excellent knowledge and understanding of effective primary practice
• Be committed to raising standards, aspirations and attainment for all children
• Be a team-player and demonstrate effective communication skills with all members of the school community
• Have excellent classroom management skills and be proficient in planning, assessment and target setting
• Be able to deliver a stimulating curriculum, which inspires all children and caters for their diverse needs and interests
• Be dedicated to their own professional development
• Be actively involved in the wider life of the school, supporting the informal as well as the formal curriculum
• Be aware of Safeguarding issues and procedures
• Be someone who genuinely loves teaching and is passionate about making a real difference to the lives of our children.
