Further Information
We are looking for an experienced Web Developer to work within the web team at Durham County Council. This post is temporary for approximately 12 months from the start date of the appointment.

You will be required to participate in various development projects utilising the skills you should have in most of the following disciplines: .Net, C#, PHP, JavaScript/jQuery, HTML and CSS. You should be aware of the current legislation surrounding WCAG 2.1 accessibility guidelines as you will be working on a project to ensure that the Authority meets its legal targets.

The post holder should have experience in working with a range of content management systems and web portals. A positive attitude and strong analytical and communication skills, as well as the aptitude and desire to establish a positive customer experience, are essential in this role.

Candidates should have a Degree or equivalent qualification in relevant subject area.
