Regent Farm First School
Wansbeck Road
Gosforth
Newcastle upon Tyne
NE3 3PE.

25 hours per week, term time (38 weeks) plus 5 additional days worked during school closure as directed by the school.

Required as soon as possible.

We have an exciting opportunity to join our school as a School Finance Officer. Regent Farm is a large, two form entry first school which is part of the Gosforth School’s Trust. Everyone at school works hard to provide our children with wonderful experiences and the very best start to their education. The school also has an additional resource centre which supports children with a visual impairment. We are exceptionally proud of all our children and our inclusive nature: we want our children to thrive and develop a high level of respect, empathy and tolerance for all.

We are looking for a School Finance Officer who has:
• an experience of working in an office, with finance experience
• the ability to prioritise workload, whilst making sure that key deadlines are met
• a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• a positive approach and a good teamwork ethic

In return we can offer you:
•an inclusive school with happy, well behaved children who enjoy learning
•the support of our dedicated strong team of staff and governors
•the opportunity to develop our commitment to provide the best possible education for all
•established positive relationships with parents and the local community
•the opportunity to work collaboratively with other members of our Trust community

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. The appointment of a successful candidate will depend upon a satisfactory enhanced criminal records check from the Disclosure and Barring Service and other recruitment and vetting checks.

If you feel you have the enthusiasm and skills required, we would like to hear from you. Usually, we would welcome visits to the school however we cannot do so at this time due to Health and Safety measures in place. We hope our website will provide you with all the information you need and give you a flavour of life at Regent Farm, but if we can help in anyway please contact the school office.

Application forms and further details can be downloaded from our school website www.regentfarmfirstschool.co.uk . Please note that applicants must access all forms via the school website as they will not be available in hard copy from the school office due to the current restrictions in place.

A completed application form and safer recruitment form must be submitted by email to admin@regentfarm.newcastle.sch.uk.

The closing date for applications is Thursday 3rd December.
The interview process will be week beginning Monday 7th December.
