Hartlepool is a vibrant and energetic town with growing prospects. As an authority we want to make Hartlepool the best it possibly can be and want dedicated, driven and committed staff to help us achieve that.

In Hartlepool we have an excellent track record in meeting the needs of children and young people with special educational needs and a strong commitment and desire to promote inclusion.

We are seeking to expand and enhance the Special Educational Needs team in Hartlepool. A strong commitment to working with others in a collaborative way is therefore essential.

Our ideal candidate will have experience of SEN administration, a broad knowledge of SEN issues, current legislation such as the Children and Families Act 2014 and the personal skills to succeed in this demanding area of work. You will also have experience of working with children, young people and families whilst being committed to raising standards with a fast paced, dedicated and innovative team.
