The SE Area Construction team requires a (temp) Highways Skilled Operatives to work within a team of Skilled Operatives and Operative drivers.
The Highways Skilled Operatives will be based at the Cowley Road Depot in Blyth.
They will assist in the delivery of all aspects of highways works from LTP to Integrated Transport safety schemes. They will be knowledgeable in all aspects of highways works as well as current legislation and best practice. As well as show all the required attributes within the Job Description. They must be able to work in a cost effective and timely manner in line with programmes and budget allocations. They will report directly to the Highways Civil Engineering Team Leader (CETL) as well as the Senior Construction Team Leader and the Area Contsruction Manager.
