We are currently seeking to appoint a Finance Support Partner who will embrace our fast paced environment and help provide a high quality finance service to our schools and academies across the North of England.
This role provides an excellent professional development opportunity where you will work alongside our dedicated team of finance specialists providing you with the essential expertise you need to work in the evolving financial school environment. This role is ideally suited to someone who can work flexibly across the school year with an enthusiastic and dedicated approach to delivering high quality work to our clients. There will be travel involved in this role and the ability to travel independently is important.
The role involves supporting the finance team in providing specialist, hands-on support and advice to school business managers, chief finance officers, head teachers, senior managers and governors in relation to a wide range of finance issues and ensuring that they have appropriate and effective finance systems in place.
The successful applicant will support Finance Partners in the development of multi-year financial planning including updating and maintaining budgets using budget planning software and finance systems, cash-flow management, accounting adjustments and the production of monthly management accounts.

The candidate will have:
• A relevant finance qualification e.g. AAT qualification, or equivalent or be actively working towards this, having achieved at least AAT level 3.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a finance environment.
• Experience of dealing with financial transactions e.g. processing journals, bank reconciliations, invoice processing, sales order processing.
• Have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
