This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, talented and ambitious person to work within our Residential Services Team.

We are based in the beautiful North Yorkshire town of Richmond with the district covering a large part of the Yorkshire Dales national park.

You will be responsible for a varied caseload across the disciplines covered by the Residential Services Team. This will include investigation of nuisance complaints, planning consultation responses and investigation of housing disrepair. The need for flexibility will be key to also assisting in our response to Covid outbreaks and enforcement.

You will have good interpersonal skills as you will be liaising with internal departments as well as the public and other organisations. You will have the ability to manage a demanding workload and be able to prioritise and manage your workload to meet deadlines to a high standard. It is essential you have a ‘can do’ attitude to work, be self-motivated and are committed to team working.

In line with current Government guidance on Covid the work will involve a mix of home-working and access to the office in Richmond.
