Berwick upon Tweed
Do you enjoy collaborating to make a difference to people’s lives?
Do you thrive on supporting our communities most in need to improve their physical and mental wellbeing?
An exciting opportunity has arisen for the right candidate to work with men aged 16-30 from across the Berwick area who are at risk of isolation, poor mental health or experiencing barriers to services and support.
This new post has been developed by The Violence Reduction Unit of Northumbria Police & Crime Commissioners Office in partnership with RISE and the Berwick Community Trust. With support from all the aforementioned organisations the role will involve establishing networks, instigating referrals, 1 to 1 support work and connecting 16 to 30-year-old men to services and activities within their local area.
The position will play a key role in helping us adopt a public health approach to tackling some of the inequalities and issues that currently exist in Berwick, particularly those linked to physical and mental wellbeing.
