We have a new and exciting opportunity to join our Gas team in the role of a Gas Engineer. In this key role, you will be responsible for ensuring the Group is compliant in Gas servicing and repairs on a day-to-day basis to a gas servicing programme. The successful candidate will also work to Support the Gas Repairs team. All Jobs you undertake will have a 'Right first time' attitude and will be expected to deliver recognised industry standards for compliance, quality and productivity. You will have access to a company vehicle and the relevant tools and equipment required to carry out your role. There will be an expectation to work on an emergency out of hours rota basis, payments of which will be in addition to your salary.
What we are looking for:
We are looking for A fully qualified Gas Engineer who holds a current ACS accreditation in CCN1 and elements including CENWAT, CPA1, CKR1 and HTR1. You must hold a NVQ Level 2/3, or equivalent City and guilds craft certification in Gas/Plumbing It is essential you have strong customer care skills and a commitment to continue service improvements. A positive work ethic and a flexible, can do attitude are important. You must have experience of Gas policies and procedures, as well as knowledge of a variety of gas appliances. You will also need a good working knowledge of H&S to ensure that you and others are working within a safe environment. Flexibility and a willingness to carry out gas activities when required across other areas of the business is essential, as is the need to hold a current (full) driving license in order to meet travel requirements.
