Further Information
In the North East of England and part of the wider Tees Valley sub-region, Darlington is a safe place to live, work and visit. There is a strong, effective Community Safety Partnership where all partners work closely together, focussing attention on the priorities within the borough.

The Council has brought together a range of services that impact on Community Safety across the borough, to provide a more focussed and coordinated service to address priorities and working closely with partners.

This unit brings together Anti-Social Behaviour, Environmental Crime, Civil Parking, CCTV, Licensing and Private Sector Housing and Trading Standards.

As a Civic Enforcement Officer you will work as part of a team providing On-Street and Civil Enforcement for Car Parking, Nuisance Parking, Environmental Crime and responding to and addressing incidents of Anti-Social Behaviour.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with the right experience, skills, knowledge and proven track record in a relevant field.

Your rewards for working at the Council goes beyond the salary you will receive. Lots of benefits are in our employment terms and conditions, such as 31 days annual leave, access to the Local Government Pension Scheme and Enhanced Maternity/Paternity and Adoption Leave Payments, to name but a few. In addition to these, we are committed to providing a wide range of other benefits for employees, such as:

• Additional Leave Purchase Scheme
