Newcastle City Learning is seeking to recruit a committed individual to lead the Gateway Team, which sits within the Children, Education and Skills Directorate. This is a full-time post – 37 hours per week and will be a permanent position.
You will be committed to leading the Gateway team which is currently based over 3 sites. Your role will be to ensure that the Gateway team provide a first-class front- line service to all of our customers, both internal and external.

You will also be responsible for the management of our data and funding team. You will be responsible for ensuring that deadlines for government returns are timely, robust and within the funding methodology. It is essential you have at least 2 years’ experience and a strong knowledge in the data and funding field and are able to demonstrate this at interview. You will also need to be adept in creating reports using SQL.
It is essential that the post holder has up to date knowledge of ESFA/NTCA funding methodology across all funding streams.
A high standard of written and verbal communication skills is essential along with an understanding of the adult education sector.
