The Governors of Grange First School are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic School Business Manager to work alongside the Senior Leadership Team in developing the strategic vision of this school. Grange First School is a community school with 350 pupils from the age of 3 to 9 years. We are a successful school with a strong ethos of care and support. Our children are happy and well behaved and enjoy learning. We are proud of our educational success and the excellent relationships between our dedicated staff, our children and their supportive families.
The successful applicant will:
•contribute to the school’s leadership at both a strategic and operational level
•ensure that operational tasks are completed effectively and efficiently
•have experience of leading (or have taken a senior role in) a business support service / team
•hold a business management qualification at Level 4 or above (e.g. school business management qualification)
•have up to date working knowledge of the following disciplines: school finance, procurement, premises management, health and safety, human resources, SFVS, governance & GDPR
•have worked as a School Business Manager, or senior school finance role
•be able to lead and develop a productive and harmonious school administrative team
The post is required for: as soon as possible
