Newker Primary School is looking for an experienced and innovative SENCO who can make a significant contribution to our friendly and hardworking staff team.
We are looking for someone who:
• Has experience, passion and expertise to support children with Special Educational Needs across school
• Is an experienced teacher, who will join our Senior Management Team to support the implementation of the School Improvement Plan
• Will become part of the school’s Designated Safeguarding Team to support the safeguarding of children across the school
• Has excellent interpersonal skills, resilience, dedication and is a team player
• Has high expectations of children’s achievements and a proven record of excellent classroom practice
• Has excellent understanding of how to use assessment information to plan and deliver learning that ensures all children make strong progress
• Is committed to developing and sustaining excellent relationships with pupils, staff, parents, governors and other members of the community
