North Tyneside Council’s Care Call service are looking to recruit a part time Telecare & Crisis Response Officer’s (Nights). This post is permanent, 35 hours per week.

This is an exciting opportunity and the successful post holder will work as part of this front-line service.

Care Call provides many key services for and on behalf of North Tyneside Council, this includes installation of tele-care, monitoring and responding to calls from telecare, out of hours call handling, sensory assessments and provision of equipment, managing and monitoring Jontek call handling system and ensuring call handling standards are in line with Telecare Services Association standards for response.

Ideally candidates should have a working knowledge of tele-care options and installation skills, call handling skills and knowledge of Jontek call handling platform or similar software.

The successful applicant will be required to work outside of normal office hours to support the 24/7 crisis response service.

The Care Call service is committed to supporting customers of our service, their families and carers with appropriate tele-care installation and a tailored response to support people to live independently, well and safeguarded.
