North Tyneside sport and leisure are looking for enthusiastic leisure assistants to join our team at Waves.

A vibrant, busy facility on the sea front in Whitley Bay. Waves features a leisure pool benefiting from an aquatic play area, 3 racing slides and the highly popular wave machine. We also have a multi-functional fitness suite, dance studio, soft play, multi-purpose meeting room, spin studio and spa facilities.

We are currently seeking the following staff:

1 x full time leisure assistant. Working 37 hours per week on a 3 week shift pattern including evenings and weekends.
1 x part time leisure assistant. Working 23.5 hours per week on a 2 week shift pattern including evenings and weekends

The above 2 posts qualify for shift allowance and weekend enhancements.

We are also looking for:
1 x part time leisure assistant. Working 14 hours. Static shifts: Tuesday 4pm-8pm and Sunday 8am-6.30pm.

Applicants should have excellent customer care skills, use their initiative, provide an efficient and friendly service and be able to work as part of a team and on their own.
They will supervise and ensure the safety of the public at all times.
