North Tyneside was recently graded ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted and now is your opportunity to be part of the Early Help Service, working with families who maybe experiencing domestic violence, unemployment, substance misuse, truancy, anti social behaviour, mental health etc by supporting them at the earliest opportunity, to prevent them from escalating into statutory services.
Due to developments within the service, an exciting opportunity has arisen for someone who is keen, enthusiastic and dynamic to support challenging and often hard to reach families.
Working alongside other professionals including health, education, housing, DWP etc to streamline those involved and encourage them to think and work differently to address such issues.
You will utilise a Signs of Safety approach to highlight the family’s strengths and build on this, enabling the family to manage with the support of a family network so that you can withdraw.
If you are assertive and tenacious with previous experience in a similar field of work, we would be pleased to welcome your application.
The posts are based across our locality teams and within Care and Connect (offering shorter term/lighter touch support to families) so families can be offered the right support at the earliest opportunity.
