We are seeking a number of enthusiastic, self-motivated individuals to work within our Public Protection & Neighbourhoods team. There is a mixture of Permanent and Temporary Posts available. Full and Part Time hours will be considered
This is an exciting time to join the team as we deliver the new Additional and Selective licensing schemes, making improvements to the Private Rented Sector.
The work consists of assisting the team in their duties under the Housing Act 2004 and the investigation of housing disrepair and noise complaints. Excellent communication, IT and interpersonal skills are required with a proven ability to deliver services.
Applications from students currently doing a degree in Environmental Health with a view to qualifying as an EHO would be welcomed.
Secondment opportunities will be considered, subject to managers approval.
