An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual looking to develop their own skills and gain experience of delivering a large-scale project and working with a range of key partners.
Darlington Borough Council has secured significant funding to deliver energy efficiency interventions into domestic houses within the borough.
We are looking for someone keen and enthusiastic in energy efficiency and climate change. You will be responsible for coordinating and managing the delivery and administration aspects of our energy grant funding.
The project aims to improve the energy efficiency of homes of low-income and low EPC rated households, helping reduce fuel poverty, phasing out high carbon fossil fuel heating and delivering progress towards the UK’s commitment to net zero by 2050.
The post will be based in Darlington although the postholder will benefit from home working opportunities as well as being expected to attend meetings at other venues throughout the area when required.
This post is temporary for a minimum of 1 year.
