An exciting opportunity has become available to join the Housing Services Team within Darlington Borough Council.
Working as part of a small team you will be responsible for delivering our tenancy sustainment policy whilst providing a pro-active and dedicated service to tenants. You will provide timely advice to encourage responsible rent payment and promote tenancy sustainability, which will involve the post holder visiting clients in their own home.
You should have approximately two years previous experience of working in a housing environment or related field and have the ability to work alone in sometimes difficult environmental situations. At least one years experience of property inspections, including identifying appropriate repair and maintenance needs.
This is a full time post and it is essential that you are able to work flexibly and be available to work outside office hours on occasions according to the needs of the service.
