Advice in County Durham (AICD) is a partnership of local advice providers, committed to working together, to improve the provision of advice across County Durham. The partnership aims to provide a seamless journey for those seeking advice; by enabling organisations providing information and advice to work in a more collaborative way for the benefit of all concerned.

This role will be employed by Citizens Advice County Durham and will support all network members. The purpose of the role is to lead on the introduction of a new Advice in County Durham website and portal. More widely, the compliance officer will be responsible for ongoing effective data management and maintenance of the system as well as providing training and ongoing support to referring organisations.

We are seeking to recruit a motivated self-starter with the ability to plan and prioritise work in a flexible and methodical way, to meet deadlines as well as manage multiple priorities. Applicants should have a working knowledge of GDPR and the associated legislation, with experience of reviewing and implementing information governance documentation and processes. Candidates should also have a sound technical understanding of implementing a website and referral portal as well as experience of creating and delivering training to a broad range of stakeholders
