Working as a Social Worker is both challenging and rewarding. Assigned to one of our multi-disciplinary teams you will undertake a range of strengths-based interventions to ensure adults with care and support needs and their families and carers' achieve their desired outcomes. Working with people and their families and carers' remains a central part of what we do to ensure that they are able to make choices and decisions about their lives. Focusing upon individual outcomes; putting the person in control and making the best use of our resources are at the heart of our Adult Social Care Strategy. Our aim is to work with all our partners and deliver Practice to be Proud of to support the people of South Tyneside to Live Better Lives.
