Embleton View is seeking to appoint a Headteacher to lead our small Independent Special School in Darlington - graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted, for students ages 11-16 with SEN including SEMH and ASD.

As Headteacher, you will be instrumental in shaping our School’s direction using your knowledge, skills, and attributes in leadership and management impacting on outcomes for children with SEN, a proven ability to operate at a strategic level and a track record of leading and driving change.

Whether you are an experienced Headteacher seeking a new challenge or a senior
leader working towards your first headship, this is a unique and exciting
opportunity to take our School forward.

The post-holder must be able to lead and support a creative approach to learning and share our enthusiasm and vision in leading and developing our School further, utilising our small and close-knit team effectively and continually striving towards excellence.

Full UK driving license and own vehicle with business insurance essential.
