Assistant Principal responsible for English. This role will require the successful candidate to lead in other areas of Academy improvement in addition to English.

This role is for a successful candidate new to the Head of Department role with limited experience in the Head of Department role or with experience leading a small English Department, who shows exceptional potential in progressing to the role of Assistant Principal.
The ideal candidate will:
o Develop and embed the strategic direction and development of the English department
o Drive forward the quality of Teaching and Learning in the English department
o Lead and manage staff in the English department
o Have performance management responsibilities in the English department
