20 hours per week, 8.30am-12.30pm. 45.8wks term time only

Temporary until 31st December 2021

The post will involve working in Key Stage 1 and will include 1:1 support for a child with additional needs. The successful candidate must have experience of working with children with social and communication difficulties and an awareness of the impact that this can have on children’s presentation and behaviour. Experience of working with children with challenging behaviour is also essential.

The role will involve working as part of a small team to deliver an individualised package of support alongside general classroom support.

GCSE in both English and Mathematics at Grades A-C or the equivalent are essential. NVQ2 or higher in childcare or equivalent is desirable for the post as is a current first aid certificate.

The ability to work independently, feedback accurately and concisely to class teachers will be essential.
