Salary / benefits: £8.91 per hour equating to £5,942 per annum based on working times below. Pension scheme. Priority admission of children of staff (subject to published Admission Arrangements).

Working times: 15 hours per week (3.45pm to 6.45pm Monday to Thursday; 2.45pm to 5.45pm Friday)
39 weeks a year (term time plus one week)

Start Date: 7 June 2021, subject to successful candidate’s availability / notice period

The King’s Academy in Coulby Newham, Middlesbrough opened in new buildings in 2003. Seventeen years later the learning environments for our students continue to be of a high quality, in no small part due to the consistent care taken by our staff in looking after our facilities, including the essential work of our cleaning team.

We are always looking to improve our service however and we now have the opportunity to recruit a new member of staff to our cleaning team to help us deliver an even better service to the students and staff of the academy. We have high expectations for our students as they grow and develop and all our staff provide important role models to them in terms of positive attitude, work ethic and diligence.

We are looking for a team member who:

• has cleaning experience in a high quality, customer focused environment;
• has a strong work ethic, high personal work standards and an attention to detail;
• is able to work supportively as a member of a team in order to deliver the team’s objectives, with good interpersonal skills;
• has a positive attitude and embraces change leading to improvement;
• can cope with the physical demands of the role.
