This is an exciting time at New College Durham as we have recently invested £8.5 million in a new STEM centre and are the lead for the North East Institute of Technology. There has been high investment in new industry standard resources to support high quality teaching and learning.
A vacancy has arisen for an Electrical and Electronic Technician to provide technical support for teaching staff and students within the Electrical and Electronics curriculum area at New College Durham. The successful applicant will ensure the appropriate equipment is available and maintained and is set up for teaching sessions, organising practical work areas for staff and students and ensuring these areas are clean, tidy and safe; along with carrying out risk assessments on equipment to ensure that compliance with health and safety regulations is in place.
