The governors of Holy Trinity CE First School in Berwick upon Tweed are looking for an enthusiastic, well-motivated teacher to teach in our Early Years Unit, starting in September 2021. The ideal candidate will have a real passion for education and the ability to provide rich, creative and stimulating learning experiences for our children. You must have high expectations of children's achievements and behaviour and be committed to raising standards.
The successful candidate must:
• have Qualified Teacher Status:
• have excellent classroom management skills;
• have some experience of teaching EYFS children and meeting a range of Special Educational Needs;
• have a secure knowledge of the Primary and Early Years curriculum:
• have a high standard of personal literacy and numeracy skills;
• have the highest expectations of pupil performance;
• have a willingness to learn and develop: and
• have a sense of humour, show patience and demonstrate warmth, care and sensitivity.
