North Tyneside Council is looking for hard working and conscientious people with excellent customer services and telephony skills to join the Housing Property and Construction Service’s customer contact centre team.
The successful candidates will be the first point of contact for a range of external customer services, assisting customers with enquiries relating to all housing repairs, planned maintenance, and Schools and Public Building repairs.
The successful candidates will diagnose repairs to determine what is and what is not an emergency repair, take details of repairs, chase outstanding works, liaise with customers, update contractors and update the internal systems. The postholder will also undertake a range of administrative functions including updating the system with planned works programmes, job completions and processing customer satisfaction information when not handling calls.
We are looking for applicants with customer service experience and ideally with some experience of working in a repairs and maintenance business or environment.
