North Tyneside Council is offering an exciting opportunity for individuals to join our high performing Sport and Leisure team. We are specifically looking to recruit casual receptionists to work across our indoor leisure sites.

We currently have 5 fantastic indoor leisure facilities across the borough that attract a high number of visitors. Our facilities include multi-functional fitness suites, swimming pools, sports halls, studios, and outdoor pitches

Applicants will be responsible for the delivery and operation of a frontline reception service with the highest commitment to customer care. Main duties include cash and call handling, providing an information service and using our leisure management system to co- ordinate the centres bookings. You must have excellent customer care skills, an understanding of information technology, have a positive, friendly, and polite manner and be comfortable following membership sales processes.

As the post is casual there are no set shift patterns, however we are looking for individuals that would be able to work a variety of shift times including early starts, late finishes, and weekends.
