Our busy school kitchen is looking for an Assistant cook who will prepare meals as per our standard recipes. The successful candidate will be responsible for the cooking of meals and general kitchen duties:

• Prepare and cook basic components of each dish on our menu.
• Ensure that the kitchen, all food preparation and food storage areas meet cleaning standards.

The successful candidate will have:

• Relevant qualifications and skills;
• Experience of cooking in a catering establishment;
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills; and
• Be able to Work as part of team

Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people is paramount and we expect all staff to share the commitment. An enhanced DBS disclosure will be required for the successful candidate.
