Home Support Worker
1 x 27hr Temporary until 31/3/2023 post
1 x 27hr Permanent post


We are looking to appoint two enthusiastic Home Support Workers within Hawthorn House, a unit which provides an extremely high standard of care in a short break/respite setting for people with learning disabilities based in Durham.

Applicants should have experience of working in a care environment/working with people who have a learning disability/specialist/complex needs/behaviours that may challenge.

Required Qualifications:

NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or equivalent. Applicants must be prepared to complete NVQ Level 3.

It is anticipated that interviews are to be held week commencing 26th April 2021.

Interviews will be held remotely via Microsoft Teams. If you are successful at shortlisting you will be notified via North East Jobs of the date and time of your interview. A separate invite will be sent via Microsoft Teams.
