Mortimer Primary School is an outstanding three-form entry and designated Teaching School.

The governors are seeking to appoint an experienced and passionate SENDCo to work in our successful school, playing a pivotal role in the transformation of learning and the lives of our students.

The person we are seeking will:
• Be a champion for all students with SEND.
• Practiced in leading SEND across the primary phases.
• You will hold the National Award for SEN Coordination, or be willing to work towards this qualification whilst in post.
• Be a self-motivated, enthusiastic and creative teacher.
• Demonstrate considerable initiative and be responsible for the appropriate development of SEND across school.

This is a full time post; part time SENDCo (non-class based 0.5) with a part time teaching timetable in a job share capacity.
