We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Place Development Officer to join our expanding Place Development Team within the Inclusive Growth and Development Service Area.

The Place Development Team deal with all aspects of placemaking and the environmental, social, health and economic benefits it can bring. This includes the support and delivery of inward investment, strategic development, asset strategy and management, masterplanning, urban design, visualisations, and the development of pipeline interventions.

We are looking for a talented individual who is a creative, enthusiastic and motivated professional, with a substantial and demonstrable experience of leading place development activities including managing programmes and capital projects to successful completion.

You will have a background in regeneration, economic growth or the built environment with a strong ability to think strategically whilst understanding the detailed complexities of bringing developments forward including the infrastructure that is needed to support delivery.
