Required As Soon As Possible, Temporary Contract for 1 Year

Park View School is a designated school for pupils with social, emotional and mental health difficulties. However, due to the challenging role of special schools, the school has a wide range of pupils from diverse learning needs, including a number who exhibit challenging behaviour, ADHD, ASD and specific learning difficulties.

The Governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and reliable driver to carry out pupil transporting. The majority of pupils attending the school are picked up and taken home on school transport.

Knowledge of the local area is desirable but full training will be given. Working patterns will be discussed at interview. Pupils will be picked up in the morning and brought to school before their 9.00 am start and taken home at the end of the school day, ensuring pupils are only left with an appropriate adult at their home address.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified, engaging and experienced people to join the dedicated staff team of Park View School. The ideal candidates will have an awareness of and be sensitive to the challenges facing children with SEMH behaviours and to promote the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils.

You will be able to demonstrate in your application that you have the ability to have a positive impact on the lives of young people at Park View Sschool.
