An exciting opportunity exists for a dedicated and creative individual to be an integral part of its Procurement Systems Team within Financial Services.

The successful candidate needs to be committed to providing a professional procurement system service aimed at supporting the Council in achieving improved quality, social and business outcomes aligned to the priorities set in our Commissioning and Procurement Plan https://www.newcastle.gov.uk/business/tenders-contracts-and-procurement/commissioning-and-procurement-plan.

It is desirable for the successful candidate to possess excellent ICT and customer service skills and have some practical Procurement knowledge.

You will be expected to work from home in the first instance, but normally based in Civic Centre, Newcastle.
