The projects are varied including Energy/ Renewables/Green Industrial Decarbonisation/Large Scale Manufacturing/Marine/Strategic Utility Networks/Ports and Marine/ Public Transport all centred around climate emergency response. The carbon target has been set to 2030 and this role will help transform Sunderland across sectors to meet the challenge. The individual will play a major role within a City that is already committed, taking shape alongside 5g digital enabling programmes and be in tune with Central Govt initiatives and agencies. They will support, respond and secure external private sector investor requirements across sectors in tune with meeting the climate emergency response.
