We seek an appropriately qualified and motivated professional, with excellent knowledge and experience of working in a childcare setting or family-based environment. You should possess a clear understanding of the safeguarding children agenda and have experience of coordinating and commissioning the delivery of multi-agency learning opportunities for staff.

You are required to have a recognised social work, nursing or teaching professional qualification or a relevant degree, post graduate qualification or higher professional award and significant experience in the safeguarding area of practice.

The successful candidate will be required to apply for a DBS Enhanced Disclosure.

You will be responsible for the development, implementation and review of an effective training strategy for the Durham Safeguarding Children Partnership including ensuring practitioner feedback, understanding impact of training on practice and understanding the lived experiences of children and young people.

Interviews are scheduled to be held via Microsoft Teams week commencing 3 May 2021.
