Gibside School is a Special School providing high quality education for over 160 pupils aged between 2-11 years with severe learning difficulties and other complex needs including autism and profound and multiple learning difficulties. The school moved into a brand-new site in February this year.

We wish to appoint three highly motivated Level 3 Teaching Assistant’s. You should have experience and knowledge of those approaches which are successful when working with children with a range of Special Educational Needs. Other skills required include good communication skills, a flexible approach and the ability to work with multi-disciplinary colleagues, parents and carers.
