Post: Social Worker, First Contact/MASH Team - 37 hours - permanent
Salary: Grade 11 Senior Social Worker £33,782 - £37,890 (post-progression) or Grade 9 Social Worker £28,672 - £32,234 (pre-progression)

An opportunity has arisen for a permanent full-time Social Worker within the First Contact MASH Service.

Social Workers in First Contact and MASH work in a multi-agency environment and are responsible for screening referrals into the Local Authority Children’s services, applying thresholds and undertaking enquiries in relation to the presenting referrals. A supportive team and ongoing development opportunities are available.

Applicants need to be Social Work qualified, registered with SWE and have experience of Children’s fieldwork and child protection. Degree in social work or equivalent social work qualification is essential, e.g. Post Graduate Diploma in Social Work (PDDipSW) Certificate of Qualification in Social Work (CQSW), Diploma in Social Work (DipSW), Certificate in Social Services (CSS) AND Current SWE Registration.
