A school in North Shields is working with First Class Supply to appoint a Full-Time SEND Teaching Assistant. The role is to start ASAP until the end of the academic year.
To apply for this role you must:
• be able to use your initiative to work independently within a class, in addition to 1-1 and small group work
• be pro-active, enthusiastic, energetic and reliable
• have recently qualified or have experience in a teaching assistant role, which has given you an up to date knowledge of the UK National Curriculum
• have experience of working with challenging behaviour and be confident in de-escalation techniques
