Teacher of KS3/4 Science with Biology or Physics specialism

We are a small 4-16 school (circa 650 on roll) that was formerly an independent school. We serve a diverse community in which our family of staff and students are well known to each other. As an improving school, we are becoming increasingly popular with parents and pupils achieve well and their behaviour is very good.

We were sponsored in May 2019 by Emmanuel Schools Foundation (ESF) - a unique multi-academy trust dedicated to offering an excellent education in Christian ethos schools of character for the whole community. With resources and assistance from successful neighbouring schools within ESF, we are raising standards and improving all aspects of the school. Our vision is to establish Christ’s as an exceptional non-denominational Christian ethos school of choice for all the community.

We require from September 2021 a motivated and passionate graduate qualified to teach Science at KS3 and 4, ideally with a Biology or Physics specialism.

The ability to demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and to consistently teach inspirational lessons is essential.
