Dene House Primary School is one of seven schools that form part of Tudhoe Learning Trust. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Kitchen Assistant to join our catering team at the Academy.
The successful candidate will be available to work from 11.00am until 1.30pm Monday to Friday during normal term time. However, whilst Covid19 restrictions are in place working hours will be from 11:15am until 1:45pm. The role involves supporting the day to day running of the kitchen.
Duties to include:
• Assist in the preparation, cooking and serving of food and beverages
• Follow food hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen in accordance with health and safety, food hygiene and COSHH regulations at all times
• Operate kitchen equipment, following training
• Undertake cleaning and washing up as directed in the kitchen and dining areas.
• Refill and replace sauces, condiments and other consumables
