An opportunity has arisen for a Technical Assistant, required on a casual as and when required basis.

You will support the aims of the Killhope Lead Mining Centre by ensuring the best possible service for every visitor through the provision of efficient and effective day-to-day operations and the delivery of the highest standards of customer care.

Experience of working with the public or with groups of people from various backgrounds is essential.

Required Qualifications:
4 GCSE’s (A-C) or NVQ level 2 in a relevant subject or equivalent

Due to the requirement to drive a County Council vehicle in this role, appointment will be subject to the production of a valid driving licence for the required category of vehicle and the satisfactory completion of an in-house Driver Induction Assessment.

Where our roles are customer facing and you are required to speak to members of the public, the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
