Woodlawn School is a fully inclusive school catering for pupils 2½ to 18 years with physical, medical, sensory needs and/or moderate learning difficulties. We are seeking to appoint a professional, friendly and reliable individual as an ICT technician to assist us in moving the school forward with technological approaches.

The role includes delivering responsive and planned maintenance for ICT equipment, the installation of such equipment, assisting staff and pupils with software access, usage difficulties, access to learning barriers and the maintenance of ICT controls.

Alongside your strong ICT skills the post holder must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to deal promptly and effectively with pupils and staff in a calm and friendly manner.

You may be an experienced ICT technician, or recent college/university leaver with an ICT qualification looking to make their first significant step into an ICT support role. We welcome applications from candidates with any relevant background providing they feel they have the character and knowledge outlined in our Person Specification.

This post is permanent, 37 hours per week, 52/52 weeks of the year.
