The Federation of Darlington Nursery Schools is currently recruiting for a Nursery Teacher to be based in our nursery class at Borough Road Nursery School, from September 2021.
We are looking to appoint an exceptional Early Years Teacher to support the development of our nursery team. Someone who can bring passion and creativity to our outstanding, enthusiastic, forward-thinking educators.
As the last two maintained nursery schools in Darlington our aim is to nurture a rich love of learning, through inspirational teaching. Building a learning community which values childhood, celebrates play and welcomes creativity is important to us.
Next year, is an exciting year for EYFS with national changes to the EYFS Statutory Framework. The successful candidate will be instrumental in working alongside the leadership team to implement these curriculum changes and develop our nursery provision to meet the new expectations.
We offer a nurturing environment to our children as well as our staff. Staff wellbeing is important at our school and across the Federation. We utilise a range of strategies to ensure children and adults alike are able to thrive.
Both Nurseries are open to children aged between 2 and 4 years from 7.30am until 6.00pm, Monday to Friday, 50 weeks of the year.
