Job Title: Youth Engagement Coordinator

Hours: 30 Hours per week

Duration: 12 Months Fixed Term Contract (Maternity Cover)

Salary: £23,080 (Development) (starting salary £23,080)
£25,481 (Competent) pro rata

Location: Middlesbrough Community Firestation, Mini Firestation, Park Road South, Middlesbrough, TS5 6LG

Cleveland Fire Brigade is looking to appoint a dynamic individual to join its Youth Development Team. The position is maternity cover and requires the post holder to come into a fast paced environment often with young people who display challenging behaviour.

Post holders must have experience working with young people as well as the ability to facilitate physically demanding fire ground activities for which full training will be provided. They will also facilitate group work, one to one support and residential activities.

The post will be based in Middlesbrough and sit within the Brigades Commissioned Services department.

Either a full driving licence or assisted driving is required to undertake this role.
