The Apprenticeship Directorate is expanding and building on our success of engaging with local employers, we are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Trainer/Assessor in Carpentry and Joinery.
We would welcome applications from occupationally competent individuals that have a proven record and experience of training and assessing carpentry and joinery apprentices at Level 2 and 3. The successful applicant will possess relevant vocational experience and an assessing qualification. However, we are willing to support the successful applicant with training and qualifications.
Applicants for this role should have drive and enthusiasm, possess good interpersonal and organisational skills. The successful candidate will be self-motivated and have experience of working in a team, as a commitment to teamwork is vital. Applicants must be mobile throughout the northeast region as this role may include travelling to employer premises.
