Hours: Full-time

We are looking for an inspirational Principal and Deputy Educational Psychologist to join our multi-agency team. Help make North Yorkshire a place of opportunity, where all children and young people are happy, healthy and achieving.

This really is an exciting time to join us and help fulfil our ambitions to develop innovative multidisciplinary working. In the last year we have established 4 locality hubs offering holistic support for children and young people with SEND, and we are developing a network of Targeted Mainstream Provisions in schools.

We have also strengthened our Educational Psychology service leadership team so we now need people who can embrace change and drive a transformation of our services, both at a service level, and also within the wider locality hubs. While the Educational Psychology service is their primary focus, the Deputy Principal Educational Psychologist will also work as part of the Inclusion Locality Team, supporting quality of services in a given locality area, and working with our locality board of schools and settings to commission and review provision in that area.

Our service includes:

• A strong traded arm with contracts including the Virtual School, Ministry of Defence and out of county schools
• Embedded support to our new Targeted Mainstream provisions, including delivering a therapeutic offer to children and young people when needed (all our Educational Psychologists are Cognitive Behavioural Therapy trained)
• Project work within the SEND hubs- ensuring our services become truly cutting edge and evidence based

Due to the breadth of the service and the exciting developments we have planned, we need people who embrace change and can drive a transformation of our services, both at a service level, and also within the wider locality hubs.
