Teaching Assistants x 5 – Fixed Term Contracts initially for one academic year.
Job Family: Learning & Development Support
Grade 2 (LD3) : Points 5-6 £19,312-£19,698 pro rata to hours worked
32.5 hours per week Term Time Only (39 weeks)

We are seeking to appoint 5 highly committed, enthusiastic practitioners to our thriving school. The successful candidates will have a recognised qualification of minimum NVQ3 or equivalent and an understanding of good primary practice.
We would welcome applications from experienced Key Stage 1 AND Key Stage 2 practitioners. A sound understanding of the additional needs of children with autistic spectrum disorder and/or social and communication difficulties would be beneficial.
All applicants should be able to demonstrate a sound understanding of effective classroom support, including a range of intervention and behaviour management strategies to support and challenge children of all abilities. You will need to be:
• Passionate about improving learning for all children
• Committed to supporting children with behaviour/SEMH needs
• Able to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and other partners as required.
• Prepared to be involved in the full life of the school.

The successful candidates may be required to run a lunchtime provision as well as other after school initiatives. They will also support general lunchtime supervision as required. The successful candidates will work under the supervision of the SENCO, as part of our experienced additional support and intervention team.
The contract is being offered initially on a Fixed Term period of 1 academic year but will be reviewed in line with funding.
