Our school is one of six primary and secondary schools within the NEAT Academy Trust family of schools. At the heart of our trust is the aim to Nurture, Educate, Achieve and Transform the lives of all young people within the communities we serve across the North East.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Site Manager who will be responsible for the smooth running of the school site and operations by: managing cleaning, contractors, and site staff, undertaking minor repair and minor maintenance works, ensuring heating, lighting and alarm systems are checked regularly, take responsibility for orders relating to school facilities, overseeing the school’s lettings, as well as security and health and safety of the school site.

The successful candidate should hold a current clean driving licence as they may be required to drive the school mini buses. You will have a primary base but will be expected to work across the trust to support other sites as and when required. This is a flexible role and maybe required to stay late to deal with contractors, local governing committee meetings but overtime will be paid. Ongoing training will be provided as part of the role.

We are looking for a confident individual who has:

• Experience of working within a similar role
• The necessary experience or qualification within a certain relevant trade
• Strong ICT and organisation skills and clarity.
• Great written and verbal communication skills.
